Crista Mitchel is an Educational Consultant for Special Populations at Region 18 Education Service Center. Prior to joining Region 18, Crista served as a case manager for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) and spent ten years in Ector County ISD, where she worked as a special education teacher for six years and as a teacher of students with visual impairments for the last four years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, as well as a Visual Impairment Certification, both from Texas Tech University.
