Julie Swendig serves as an Educational Consultant for Special Populations. She serves as the lead contact for the Child Find, Evaluation, and ARD Supports Network. She serves on the Transition Network, and provides instruction for CPI certification. Mrs. Swendig provides training for special education teachers, general education teachers, Educational Diagnosticians, Speech Therpists, LSSPs, Occupational Therapists, Physcial Therapists, other related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and parents. Prior to joining Region 18, Mrs. Swendig was an Elementary General Education teacher for 15 years and then an Educational Diagnostician for 15 years. She received her Bachelors degree's in elementary education from Texas Tech Univeristy and her Master's degree in Special Education with an Educational Diagnosticians certification from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
