Jill Rivera is the Chief Instructional & Federal Programs Officer for Region 18 Education Service Center. Mrs. Rivera supervises Curriculum & Instruction support and services to districts in all core content areas as well as the TEKS Resource System, Gifted & Talented services, Dyslexia and Texas K-3 Reading Academies. In addition, Mrs. Rivera oversees Federal Programs including Title I, Career & Technical Education, Migrant Education, and Bilingual – ESL. Before joining Region 18, Mrs. Rivera served students in Shiner ISD, Temple ISD, and Midland ISD as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and executive director. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at the Permian Basin and a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard Payne University.
