Postsecondary Outcomes

Individualized Education Program (IEP) Postseconday Outcomes planning is a crucial component of special education designed to assist students with disabilities as they move from school to post-school life. The Postsecondary Outcomes planning process is initiated before the student’s 14th birthday. The main goal of IEP Postsecondary Outcomes planning is to help students with disabilities successfully into adulthood by providing them with the necessary skills, support, and services. The Postsecondary Plan is a formalized part of the student's IEP, and it focuses on various areas, including education, employment, and independent living.
