Sarah Cecil serves as the Educational Consultant for Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). She also serves as the lead contact for the Inclusion in Texas Network, as well as serves on the Multiple Exceptionalities & Multiple Needs Network (MEMN). She also serves on the Academy for Teachers of Young Children Committee, alongside other Early Childhood Consultants from six additional Education Service Centers across Texas. Mrs. Cecil provides training and support for both special education and general education teachers and staff, paraprofessionals, parents, and administrators. Prior to joining Region 18 in 2020, Mrs. Cecil served in Ector County ISD for twenty years. During her time in ECISD, she served as a Special Education Teacher, Early Childhood Teacher, PPCD Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, First Grade Teacher, and Educational Diagnostician. She earned a Master of Education in Educational Diagnostician from Sul Ross State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
