Renee Walker serves as an Educational Consultant for the Legal Framework for the Child- Centered Special Education Process, the School, Family, & Community Engagement project, and as a Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor. She provides training and support for educators, paraeducators, administrators, and parents of students receiving special education services. Prior to joining Region 18 this year, Mrs. Walker served in Ector County ISD for 22 years. During her time in ECISD, she served as a Special Education Teacher in the Secondary Specialized Classroom, 18 Plus Program at the Transition Learning Center, Coach, and as a Special Education Supervisor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso, a Master of Education in Special Education from Grand Canyon University, and she is an alumnus from our Region 18 Teacher Certification Program.
